As a part of Titanium Solutions, and a realtor with Associates Realty, I specialize in helping people work with their foreclosure problems. Either through loan modifications with their lender or helping to dispose of their properties, I strive to make this much less stressful (just by the very nature of foreclosure they can't be stress-free!). My services are free unless I help you sell your house and often, in the case of a short sale, the bank pays for my services.

Abandonment even before foreclosure!

Are people really considering walking away from their house before they have even missed a mortgage payment? Before the bank starts foreclosure proceedings? Before the sheriff's sale? YES!

I know. Things are tough. People here are losing jobs, and from the news this past week, more job losses are coming. Gas and grocery prices are going up. At least the home heating season is nearing an end.

There are so many people that are just barely hanging on. I have heard from quite a few of you in the last week. Quite a few who were thinking about walking away. I will tell you the same thing I told them. DON'T! There are still options (if you want details read previous posts or email me), in fact all of the options are still open to you when you haven't missed a payment.

Please, don't be so embarrassed that you don't ask for help. Help is available... even if you just want "a divorce" from your house.

As I have said in previous posts, by taking action you are saving your neighborhood by not adding another abandoned house to our landscape.

Wow... Difficult to imagine people walking away from a home without evne trying. Unless they took a mortgage with no money down -- nothing to loose but their credit.
